Japanese watch manufacturer KENTEX, known for its Self-Defense Forces watches, has collaborated with Girls & Panzer.
The latest Self-Defense Forces watch combines the specifications of Girls und Panzer with its world view, creating a premium collaboration watch suitable for the final chapter.
The watch is based on a solar-powered Ground Self-Defense Forces model, with an abundance of Girls und Panzer's world view and unique features characteristic of tank warfare, creating a truly authentic military-specification timepiece.
First production is limited to 300 pieces.
The dial features a color scheme based on the Oarai Girls' High School's Panzer jacket. The main logo adopts the Japan Tankery Federation logo, while the sub-dial at 6 o'clock is designed with the emblem of Oarai Girls' High School, creating a unique face design that is characteristic of Girls und Panzer.
The dial indexes are uniformly in a black color. At the 4 o'clock position, the symbol 'IV', representing the Type IV Tank H that the Ankou Team rides, is displayed, expressing the world of Girls und Panzer even in the details.
The dial features a telemeter scale, allowing for instant measurement of the distance to a tank based on the time difference between the firing light of a shell and the sound of its explosion. This telemeter function, incorporated by KENTEX, a specialist in Self-Defense Forces watches, authentically reproduces the world of Girls und Panzer's tank warfare.
The bracelet features a design reminiscent of tank treads, with a matte black PVD coating to prevent scratches. The buckle is engraved with the familiar 'PANZER VOR!' along with the Ankou mark.
On the case back, the tank model 'Panzer Kampfwagen Ausf.D (H Ver)' ridden by Miho and her Ankou Team is engraved, along with the serial number indicating the first limited production of 300 pieces.
The watch is equipped with a reliable Japanese-made solar-powered chronograph movement. With a full charge, it can operate for up to 6 months. It also features a multifunction design including chronograph, 24-hour indication and date calendar.
The watch's bezel is uni-directional rotating, featuring a countdown scale and a compass. The compass allows for determining direction even in unmarked fields, using the time and position of the sun.
The watch waterproofing is up to 100 meters, ensuring it remains intact even when immersed in water, making it resistant to rain and water submersion. It also provides robust protection against moisture and dust, keeping the watch secure.
The watch hands and four index markers are coated with Super-Luminova, ensuring excellent visibility even in the darkness.
The box is an attaché case-style original plastic box in the color of 'Panzer Kampfwagen Ausf.D (H Ver).' On the top, there is a metal plate with the logo of the Japan Tankery Federation, creating a sense of exclusivity.
As a limited-time offer exclusive to the first production batch, a commemorative collaboration acrylic stand is included. This unique item is newly drawn for this collaboration and captures a moment from Miho's everyday life in a way that only this special artwork can.
